Description

The problem that UMTS/3G signals are often poor, especially in buildings, can be avoided with this outdoor antenna. In the weather-resistant and stable housing, an ultra-wideband receiver is installed which transmits the radio signal from the outside reliably to a router within the building. It can achieve a gain of up to 11 dBi. The antenna comes with a 5m ultra-low-loss cable, and is suitable for simple wall or pole mounting. In order to achieve an optimal result concerning reception, the antenna must be directed at the transmission tower of the mobile service provider employed, which may take some time, but may be simplified by using our UMTS monitoring tool. The antenna is supplied with mounting hardware for wall or pole mounting, as well as with a table stand. For connecting the antenna to the respective Hot Plug Module, a 5m CS29 twin cable is included. If this cable should be insufficient, a 5m or 10m CS29 ultra-low-loss twin cable extension can be purchased. Please keep in mind to always use the shortest possible cable in order to minimize signal quality loss.
