Description
The Multichannel VPN Hub serves as VPN concentrator for the VPN tunnels built by the Multichannel VPN Routers for transferring data via several bundled broadband lines. These bundles are then terminated in star topology with a Multichannel VPN Hub in a data center. There, the data is decrypted and forwarded to its original destination. With a bonding capacity of 2 GBit/s, this high-performance device is the best choice for managing a large number of clients. According to the required bandwidth per site, one single hub can connect up to 1000 sites. Therefore, it is best suited for large network structures and ISPs. The optional Hub Tunnel Segmentation allows terminating several different customers on the same VPN Hub with their data traffic being completely separated from each other. As the router possesses two redundant hot-plug power supply units, it can be operated in two separate electric circuits. This provides highest reliability in the data center.
